PIXIE IS OUR FAMILY PET. BORN RIGHT HERE AT BOER TRAX ACRES, SHE IS A 15 LB. SABLE 1ST GENERATION COCKAPOO. LOADED WITH INTELLIGENCE & PERSONALITY, THIS HAPPY LITTLE DOG HAS ADAPTED WELL TO LIFE ON OUR FARM. SHE MAKES DAILY ROUNDS WITH US TO FEED AND TEND THE OTHER ANIMALS, & WHEN ANYONE COMES TO VISIT, SHE IS THE FIRST TO GREET THEM. EVERY NEW LITTER OF COCKAPOOS BORN ON THE FARM RECEIVES LOTS OF LOVE FROM LITTLE "AUNT" PIXIE.
1ST GENERATION COCKAPOOS!
History of Our Cockapoos We started raising Cockapoos in 2004. We stumbled upon the idea after a very persistent male dog(Zeplin the Poodle) that belonged to our neighbor became very interested in our Cocker Spaniel, Abby. He was so interested that he decided to just stay. We had heard of Cockapoos but only in passing. We never thought anything of it. Since our male friend was going to be there anyway, why not try it out. Our Cocker was about 5 years old and we had never bred her before so we tried it out. It was amazing to us how cute the puppies turned out. They make very adorable friends. Our first litter was all black. This was out of a parti cocker and black poodle. The puppies were all sold within 3 days of there 6 week birthdays. We tried it again but this time with a different poodle. It seems that the first poodle was getting a bit too old for such things as this. In fact, after his first litter of cockapoos he had to go on heart medicine, over exertion(not to mention he was about 10 years old). The second poodle was a charcoal color. This time this guy threw all kinds of color. Partis, Red, Black, Buff and Phantom. We were very pleased with the likeable disposition and just plain cuteness of these dogs. These pups all went to loving homes and we have gotten emails saying how much they enjoy them.
We now have 4 breeding cocker spaniel females. The cockers range from 18 - 21 pounds. Our male poodles are about 8 - 10 pounds.
Our breeding cockers have the following colors:
Dessi: Blue Merle Parti Candy: Red/White Parti Lacy: Red Cocoa: Chocolate
Our males have the following colors:
Snowball: White Teddy: Red
The 1st generation cockapoos generally range from 14 to 20 pounds. Usually there is one in each litter that is larger than the others and he/she will usually weigh more than the others. There is also usually one in each litter that is small and he/she will weigh less than the others.
Our puppies are born in our home and stays in for two days. Then they are moved to the barn which has heat or air for them. Then when they are 6 wks. old we bring them back into our home and we start crate training. To begin the process we take them outside several times a day and telling them to go potty. Letting them hear that word helps them identify with what they are doing. Our puppies are socialized with our entire family (My husband & I and our 3 kids). We devote our time and love to all the puppies that are born here at Boer Trax Acres. So we try our best to find good loving homes for all our pups and try to provide a friend that folks can enjoy for many years. Also all puppies come vet checked with health records, shots, wormed, tails docked & dew claws removed.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RESERVE A PUPPY THERE IS A $100.00 DEPOSIT (NON-REFUNDABLE) THAT GOES TOWARD THE COST OF THE PUPPY! WHEN THE PUPPY IS 4 WKS. OLD HALF OF THE AMOUNT WILL BE DUE. THEN AT THE TIME OF PICKUP THE OTHER HALF WILL BE DUE IN CASH. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS OUT TO: JEFF DOBBINS
